I had the most incredible stay at this hidden gem. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a friendly tour of the property. The cabin I stayed in was cozy and surprisingly well-insulated, providing the perfect retreat from the chilly weather. The stunning waterfront location offered breathtaking views and the sound of waves crashing was the most soothing wake-up call. The cafe served delicious pancakes that I couldn't resist. One evening, I ventured out for a midnight bathroom run in the rain, and although it was a bit dark due to some trail lights being out, it made for a memorable experience. The separate bathroom was spotlessly clean and had plenty of hot water. The linens provided in the cabin were fresh and comfortable, and the scent of cedar added to the tranquil atmosphere. The beautiful property, complete with a short trail to the beach, left me in awe. I can't recommend this place enough for its unique charm and exceptional hospitality.

The location of this place was great, just a short walk from the beach with beautiful views. I also appreciated the friendly owners and the tasty breakfast offered at the on-site café. The variety of interesting souvenirs was a nice touch as well.
It would have been nice to have more room for our belongings. there was only one fire pit available for all guests to use, which meant we had to share and wait for others to finish.

The cabins were cozy and well-insulated, providing a warm and comfortable stay during the Christmas season. The waterfront location offered stunning views and the soothing sound of crashing waves. The restaurant served delicious pancakes, and the hosts were friendly and accommodating.
We were surprised to find that the bathrooms were separate from the cabins. This was a bit inconvenient and took away from the overall experience.

My partner and I recently stayed at the Zzzzmoose for two nights and we had an amazing time! The cabin was unique and cozy, complete with a fire pit where we could relax and listen to the waves crashing on the rocks. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us great recommendations for hiking trails and local attractions. The breakfast at the Dancing Moose Cafe was delicious, and we loved the adorable cat and chickens on the property. We can't wait to return!

The location of the hotel is not particularly scenic, but it is convenient for exploring the Cape Breton Islands National Park and the Cabot Trail. Guests can take a short walk down to the beach, although swimming is not recommended. the rooms are described as cozy, comfortable, and well-kept, with each cottage having its own private bathroom. the owner, Ton, is friendly and accommodating, making guests feel welcome. Breakfast at the onsite cafe, which serves delicious Dutch pancakes, is highly recommended.
